Credit Bank of Moscow says IFRS Jan–Sep net profit soars by 44%
MOSCOW, Nov 18 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Credit Bank of Moscow soared by 43.9% on the year to 17.102 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
The net interest income rose by 32.4% to 42.541 billion rubles, while operating income grew by 24.6% to 37.643 billion rubles. Pretax profit jumped by 50% to 21.92 billion rubles.
Assets of the bank increased by 21.8% in the period to 2.953 trillion rubles as of September 30, while liabilities gained 23.4% to 2.732 trillion rubles. The combined loan portfolio before provision for reserves grew by 22% to 1.012 trillion rubles.
